French Reading Comprehension - Family Members
A 2-page French reading comprehension based on discussing family members and ages. This is then followed by an outline of how to state ages (present tense conjugation of AVOIR and numbers in written form), along with various translations and writing activities. Towards the end of the document, students will also be able to develop their writing skills by describing their family.

French Nationalities
A 1-page document outlining the main country and nationality vocabulary required for GCSE-level. Alongside the nationalities like “français(e)” and “anglais(e)”, this document also includes more ‘original’ vocabulary such as “islandais(e)” and “roumain(e)” to prompt the higher-achievers to incorporate more ‘unique’ words in their writing and speaking.
There are no activities within this resource, yet it is useful to use as a handout or a classroom poster.

French Reading Comprehension - Food
A 2-page French reading comprehension based on the topic ‘food and drink’. This is then followed by an opportunity for students to develop their writing skills whilst discussing French Polynesian food. This resource contains complex, niche vocabulary (eg. “les espadons” and “les dorades”), and thus would be best for Year 11 revision or for higher-achievers wanting to broaden their French knowledge.
